Eric is an entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, and venture capitalist, and former attorney with 30 years of complex international business and administrative law experience, focusing on renewable energy, emerging technology, sustainability, capital formation, applications of Artificial Intelligence to environmental and energy systems. He was a partner in what is now the 16th largest law firm in the world with 48 offices in 22 countries.
A former City Council Member and Mayor, Drummond also represented the U.S. Department of Energy and Treasury in the nation’s $32 billion Section 1705 Loan Guaranty Program, a program supporting the development of gamechangin, cutting-edge, technologies.
Eric is a Senior Advisor - Growth Strategy for VentureWell in Massachusetts and the CEO and Founder of Innovation Corridor Investments, a high-impact climate technology acceleration platform. He is serving his third four-year term on the Board of Directors of Colorado’s Venture Capital Authority, a seed- and early-stage venture fund, and is the Authority’s Board Chair.
He is also a founding director of Colorado’s green infrastructure bank, the Colorado Clean Energy Fund, a senior advisor in the Catalyst venture fund, a co-founder and principal advisor to Energize Colorado, and an Advisory Board Member of Gary Community Venture’s Wealth Fund.
