Michigan Mobility Prototyping Grant Program
The Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification, in partnership with Centrepolis Accelerator @ LTU, has announced the Michigan Mobility Prototype Grand Program. The program is designed to provide funding to promising mobility and electrification technology companies to support their product development with Michigan-based firms. Centrepolis Accelerator @ LTU will award up to $50,000 to at least eight companies, focusing technical assistance services on: product development, prototyping, product testing, and manufacturing readiness. The program will also dedicate services and funding to disadvantaged businesses, firms in distressed or rural communities, and companies relocating to Michigan or opening new operations in the state.

Industrial Decarbonization Innovation Challenge (IDIC)
Innovators: Apply by November 30, 2023 to compete for up to $250,000 to demonstrate and test your industrial decarbonization solution in a real world setting. The Industrial Decarbonization Innovation Challenge (IDIC) is a global effort to connect best-in-class industrial decarbonization technology innovators with the world’s leading industrial companies and investors to accelerate our transition towards economy-wide carbon neutrality. As a main contributor to greenhouse gas emissions our industrial sector has a significant role to play in combating climate change. IDIC is a unique initiative that aims to address this problem head-on by providing resources and support to industry and innovators to accelerate solutions that will reduce carbon emissions of industrial processes.

Offers sustainability and climate-related technical assistance for small and medium-sized businesses in Southeast Michigan. This three-year initiative is supported by the Erb Family Foundation and selected businesses will work with Centrepolis’s experts in residence at Fresh Coast Climate Solutions to advance their company’s sustainability performance by selecting from a toolbox of services including Climate + Sustainability Readiness, Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Program Development, Alternative Materials and Reduction, Solution Implementation, and Electrification.

Technical Assistance
Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University in collaboration with the NextCycle Michigan is pleased to announce the availability of technical assistance to support disadvantaged communities and businesses in advancing the circular economy in Michigan! This activity is funded by an Economic Development Association (EDA) Build to Scale grant and the State Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). This opportunity for direct technical assistance will run through September 2025.
