Design for Michigan Manufacturing

Centrepolis Accelerator was launched by the Lawrence Technological University with support from the City of Southfield and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation as the only State incubator program solely focused on developing "hardware" technologies which include: 1) physical products; 2) advanced materials 3) manufacturing technologies.

The Centrepolis Accelerator’s Michigan Mobility Prototyping Grant program offers funding to promising mobility and electrification technology companies, supporting their product development in collaboration with Michigan-based firms. This program is committed to advancing innovation across Michigan’s mobility and electrification sectors, emphasizing opportunities for startups, established firms, and disadvantaged businesses in distressed or rural communities, as well as companies relocating or expanding within Michigan.

NextCycle Michigan

The state of Michigan has a new approach to supporting recycling projects: NextCycle Michigan. A multi-track idea incubator, technical support, subject matter expert mentoring, access to regional data plus funding from public/private/non-profit partners. Who wants a circular economy? Robust recycled materials supply chain? Recycled-content manufacturers? Michigan does! Learn how a multi-track idea incubator funded through public/private/non-profit partners will move MI toward a 45% recycling rate.

RESTART@LTU

RESTART@LTU — short for Retired Engineers, Scientists, Technicians, Administrators, Researchers, and Teachers — is a partnership between the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and Lawrence Technological University (LTU). RESTART is also a partner of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Industrial Training & Assessment Center (ITAC) program, which allows our clients to apply for up to $300,000 in federal funding for implementation assistance.
