Tim is passionate about supporting client teams with a vision of gaining competitive advantage in the marketplace, by achieving business excellence at all levels of their organization through cultural peak performance, and operational excellence methodologies.
Tim’s role with Centrepolis Accelerator will be working closely with phase 4 start-ups in a position to scale up their teams in rapidly changing, highly technical environments where his skills are most relevant. Returning to his passion for management consulting and technology development, Tim comes to the Centrepolis Accelerator from Tenneco’s Clean Air Division where he served in the Manufacturing Engineering Technologies (MET) group in Jackson, MI. Recruited immediately to join a plant turnaround by the Regional Operations Director, Tim led as a change agent on a SWAT team for 12 months from 2017 to 2018 troubleshooting a highly technical, micron level precision, product successfully completing the project and presenting the future process technology roadmap approved by the VP/GM Clean Air NA reducing scrap from above 40% to less than 10%. Returning to his Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer role successfully developed laser welding technology for FCA’s WS / WL (Jeep Grand Cherokee) program which will produce over 1M units per year in 2021. Discovering his passion for the significance of IIoT emerging technologies, after being invited to serve as Project Manager, Tim worked closely with senior executives establishing the internal / external IIoT team within the operational excellence team collaborating on strategy (MES), deployment (EA), and management of IIoT assets (EAM) for 18 total plants in U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Rogge was the founding member of Lean Sigma Consulting, an Ann Arbor, MI based Management Consulting firm stemming from the Ann Arbor SPARK business incubator program on the University of Michigan's main campus from 2008 thru 2017. Initially focused on educating clients on achieving transformation through a comprehensive approach to deploying Lean and Six Sigma projects, he developed practices in Healthcare, Advanced Materials, Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, and Cultural Development in addition to supporting start-up ventures and environmental non-profits.
Tim is active in the Ann Arbor SPARK incubator community, received his certification in Lean and Six Sigma practice from Lawrence Technical University, and is an alumni of the University of Toledo where he holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology degree.
