Autonomous Systems Industry Consortium
The Michigan Autonomous Drone System Industry Consortium is a statewide initiative designed to strengthen collaboration across Michigan’s drone ecosystem. Through this program, OEMs, component manufacturers, and material suppliers come together to share resources, address supply chain gaps, and align on R&D and workforce priorities. By fostering connections and supporting innovation, the consortium positions Michigan as a leader in scaling autonomous drone technologies and domestic manufacturing.
What we do
We unite Michigan’s drone industry—OEMs, suppliers, and innovators—to drive collaboration and shared growth. Our consortium helps members accelerate product development, streamline procurement, and connect across the supply chain. We also work to identify R&D priorities, fill supply chain gaps, and strengthen Michigan’s manufacturing base. By aligning workforce, innovation, and production needs, we’re building a stronger, more resilient future for autonomous drone technologies.
How we do it
The Michigan Autonomous Systems Industry Consortium brings together OEMs, suppliers, and innovation partners through curated convenings, working groups, and targeted collaboration opportunities. We actively identify supply-chain gaps, align members around shared R&D and workforce priorities, and facilitate connections that accelerate product development and domestic manufacturing. By coordinating industry insights, production needs, and talent development, the consortium helps members move more efficiently from concept to scaled deployment while strengthening Michigan’s leadership in autonomous systems.
