Courtney Matheson is a mechanical engineer with expertise in product development, prototyping, and manufacturing processes. She specializes in utilizing SolidWorks to create precise 3D models for prototyping and detailed 2D drawings for patent applications and technical documentation. Courtney works closely with startups, translating product requirements into actionable design improvements and ensuring seamless integration with industrial designers and manufacturers. She also coordinates with supply chain partners to assess manufacturability and obtain production quotes. With hands-on experience in machining and fabrication, she applies techniques such as CNC milling, laser cutting, and lathe operation to prototype innovative solutions. Additionally, she has managed cost modeling and bill of materials preparation for engineering teams.
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, where she was a Tau Beta Pi member and captain of the LTU Women's Soccer Team.
