
Ali has over 10 years of in-depth global supply chain experience in the Medical Device, Consumer goods, and Chemical industries in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100.
Currently, Ali owns and operates Desso Consulting LLC (DBA Desso Supply Chain Management) where he provides consulting services and supply chain as a service to start-ups and established businesses in need of additional supply chain support. Most recently, Ali developed a global supply chain from the ground up amidst the Covid-19 pandemic for MAXPRO Fitness LLC, a home gym equipment company. In Q4 of 2021, MAXPRO landed a deal with Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban and ended the year with $11M in revenues.
In his past, Ali streamlined and managed the global customer supply chain of TransMedics, Inc, a medical device company that produces a proprietary organ care device used to transport human organs for transplantation. During his time with TransMedics, Inc. he drastically improved average order processing time, Order Accuracy, and On-time Delivery rates by automating processes and implementing quality controls.
Known for leveraging out-of-the-box and strategic techniques in developing innovative procedures, Ali earned multiple awards such as Collaboration for Superior Results and Strategy from The Dow Chemical Company where he led supply chain improvement and expansion projects.
Ali has always been passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. During his sophomore year in college, he designed, manufactured, and marketed his first invention- Low Sweeper. In the following years he continued to innovate solutions to everyday problems and has obtained two US Patents in the hand tool industry to date.
Ali holds a BA in Supply Chain Management which he obtained from Michigan State University, the No. 1 ranked Supply Chain Management program in the nation.
