On the campus of Lawrence Technological University, The Centrepolis Accelerator is a non-profit focused on the growth of Southeast Michigan’s small manufacturers and hardware entrepreneurs by providing access to key resources and a collaborative community and product development and manufacturing experts.

With over 25 years of business development and market research experience, Brian is an expert-inresidence at the Centrepolis Accelerator supporting clients in the clean-tech space.  

Brian is co-founder and COO of Michigan-based Solartonic which develops smart energy and wireless communications infrastructure. He was previously founder and CEO of ShadePlex, which made high power flexible solar fabrics for shade structures, roofs and tents.  

In addition, Brian owns a consulting practice with over 40 clients including Fuji Electric, Flint Ink Group, Optimal CAE, EcoWorks Michigan, Elevate Energy, Boston Green Ribbon Commission, and the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center.  

Brian holds a BA in Philosophy from Michigan State University and an MA from Eastern Michigan University.
