Debbie Holton is a business development and marketplace expert with a proven track record of growing revenue, impact, and results in the engineering and manufacturing technology space. She serves industry in the strategic areas of advanced manufacturing, 3D Printing, digital transformation, and robotics. Known as a change agent, she champions new projects and fosters an organizational climate that seeks and supports innovation. With a strong level of technical knowledge on industry needs, she cultivates strong relationships with leaders of companies, organizations, universities, and government agencies where her input is sought out and respected.
Holton brings industry together to solve tough challenges and guides clients through broad ranging and complex initiatives to effect change and drive significant impact. As President of Metrix, an ASME company, she launched a revolutionary startup pioneering digital events, content, and engagement. By driving innovative strategies, new products, M&A and partnerships, she led the Industry Events group at ASME, the Events and Industry Strategy group at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and served as the first Acting Director of Technology Transition at America Makes.
Debbie holds a BA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA with distinction from the University’s Ross School of Business. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the National Tooling & Machining Association and the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association.
