Michael Blicher is a veteran technology and automotive strategist with 45+ years of global experience spanning engineering, manufacturing, business development, and innovation leadership. A Carnegie Mellon–trained electrical engineer and economist, he has held key roles at General Motors and Magna International, where he helped pioneer modular vehicle architecture and advanced mechatronic integration.
Since 1999, he has led MCBNetwrx—supporting U.S. and international companies with technology transfer, global benchmarking, strategic partnerships, and market positioning—and he currently makes his home base at Innovation Works, LLC, focusing on advanced vehicle software architectures, connected-car ecosystems, defense and medical innovation, and XR-driven UI/UX development.
He remains deeply engaged in emerging technologies and has long supported Michigan’s innovation ecosystem and MEDC initiatives. Michael is active in industry organizations including SEMA, CEA, CVTA, COVESA, MTAM, MSSLA, NBIA, NDIA and SAE.
