The Aptum structure resembles a paper lantern (luminaria), but on a larger scale, and has a frame made of iron. The durable material will last 20 years (or more) and protects each unit against high wind gusts, snow, and rain. Optimized for use year-round, the structures have removable windows and optional screens that can be easily removed for ventilation between parties, or during favorable weather. They can be raised in under two hours with just two people, offering additional seating when a location requires it—in a hurry. Once inside, each unit is quiet and warm, creating the environment of the inside, while safely protected from the outside.
