What We Do
Micro Makers is a program of the Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University helping underserved and/or underrepresented micro makers in Wayne County to create market viable products. Micro Makers is open to startups, established small businesses, inventors, and product developers.
Program Eligibility:
- Wayne County business or willing to relocate your business
- Currently developing a physical product
- Less than 50 employees
How We Do It
Centrepolis will assist by providing access to the following:
- Marketing, business, & sales strategy support
- Entrepreneurship training
- Intellectual property (i.e. patents, trademarks, copyrights)
- Product design & prototyping, testing, tooling & manufacturing
- Funding opportunities
