Get Ready for ACE ’17

Join the Michigan startup ecosystem at the 17th Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship (ACE’17) happening on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at the Westin Southfield Detroit Hotel!

Every year hundreds of startup entrepreneurs, investors and support professionals from all over the state gather at ACE to exhibit their products and services, network, learn, and connect. This year you also have the opportunity to to compete in the ACE’17 Challenge!

CROWDLINK NETWORKING

Get better connected! This year ACE’17 attendees will be able to build stronger business relationships through CrowdLink, an easy-to-use networking application that allows participants to connect with each other and communicate via phone and/or email. CrowdLink lets you grow and maintain your new business relationships before, during and after the event!

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

The ACE ‘17 schedule includes two hour-and-a-half Breakout Sessions that encompass a total of eight learning sessions. Everyone will be able to select and attend a single learning session during each Breakout Session. In all Breakout Sessions, there are a variety of topics covered by different companies to give you and your business a deeper dive into some of the challenges and opportunities you currently face or may face in the future.

In Breakout Session 1, there is a session specifically tailored to support organization leadership: Metrics & Milestones: Rethinking, Reporting and Measuring Impact. Other attendees can choose from: Challenges and Opportunities for Entrepreneurs in Self-Driving Vehicles, Mobile Marketing Strategies Workshop, or the NEF (New Enterprise Forum) Pitch Showcase.

In Breakout Session 2 attendees can select from: Bootstrapping To Growth – The Most Lean and Fastest Growth Strategy, FAILURE LAB: An Entrepreneur’s Journey, Tap into your Productivity, Profitability, and Potential with Wireless Technologies, or Michigan Support Services for Commercialization and Growth.

THE ACE ’17 CHALLENGE

This year’s competition will award cash and service prizes totaling $20,000, including business and sponsorship support from Michigan-based experts and the LTU Collaboratory! Check out the list of participants that got selected to compete and learn more about the ACE ’17 Challenge here.

VOTING WITH ACE DOLLARS

The winner of the ACE’17 Challenge will be selected by everyone that attends ACE. Each attendee without investing experience will receive $10K ACE Dollars and have the opportunity to vote for or “invest in” their favorite entrepreneur. Entrepreneur support organizations will receive $25K ACE Dollars and registered investors (Angels, VCs, Seed) will receive $50K-$100K ACE Dollars.
